Another good day, with 3 of 4 bets landing. Nigeria demolished Croatia in basketball tournament (90-76), and after wins vs Spain and Brazil, Croatia might be out of quarterfinals, it might ended 4th and play vs USA in the QF, but it might also end up as high as 2nd place... The last match vs Lithuania will decide.

Croatia managed to beat France in handball "El Classico" by one goal (France missed the penalty in the final seconds), but too many goals scored. But - when we have 3 of 4, I can't complain - if only every day could be like this one.

So far, Croatian waterpolo team didn't play well, while Italian did. And yesterday, Croatia played the best match of the tournament, and Italy (and they looked really good so far) - the worst. Nothing to complain about 10-7 Croatia win – except for the fact they'd be satisfied with 9-7 as well, and our UNDER bet would be won.

We lost 2 points there, but Cibalia returned after being 2:0 down at Rnk Split, so we won CFL bet. The Olympic Bets for today are coming at 1 PM CET.

Very good day at the office, with 4 of 6 bets won.

Marin Cilic won the first set in tie-break, and lost the other two. He lost his serve in 2nd set when it was 4:4, and when Monfils served for the set, Cilic had a break ball – and after a long rally – he made an unforced error. If he had won that point, maybe both of aour bets would be won, and not only the OVER bet.

Both handball and basketball team of Croatia won their respective matches, and since we had a margin on our side, and Croatia was in the lead in both matches since the beginning, it was pretty much easy to watch. However, we lost basketball UNDER bet, bot won handball UNDER bet. But, non stop continues – here are the bets for today.

Just a few sentences about last night's matches. Both matches between Argentina and Croatia were more than tight – Croatia somehow managed to win in handball (by only one goal), while O/U margin was completely wrong as well, so both bets won. Basketball match was decieded by too many Croatian technical fouls (and that's one of the reasons why our UNDER bet was lost). However, 3 bets won and 1 lost – that's not the result I'll complain.

I updated the stats – football bet brough 5.33 points profit, tennis 0.66 points, and other sports (basketball, handball and waterpolo) brought additional 1.93 points profit (if we take a look at every single sport, only basketball produced loss – 0.28 points). Total profit: 7.92 points.

Alotgether, we already had 54 bets, 54 points staked: 33 won – 1 void – 20 lost.

ROI is at 14,7%, and since our advised bank is 20 points – is 39.6 %.

I must say I'd be staisfied with the ROI like this at the end of the season.

I'll publish detailed updated stats (and all the bets of the season) on Monday, August 15th. Since the first match we had a bet was played on July 15th, I decided that that will be the main „Recap-day“.

This night, we were more than unlucky. In the equal match, Croatia scored the winning goal 8 seconds before the end. In the 1st round match, everything went like I expected, and both of our waterpolo bets were won.

First match of Croatian handball team produced enough goals, but Qatar was much better team from the beginning and the deserved to win, so a small loss there.

I suppose you know that Croatia surprisingly beat Spain in the first round of the basketball tournament, but the UNDER bet was won, so small loss there as well.

Tennis brought 3 points loss, but we were unlucky once more, as Borna Coric lost 6:4 and 7:6, just enough to loose our bet. Both bets involving Marin Cilic weren't even close.

And, last - but obviously not least, 2 football bets were won, one lost, so football and waterpolo were the only profitable sports.

Two Dinamos played boring match, just like I expected (Zagreb won 1:0),
Hajduk prooved that is much better than Olexandriya (3:1), and that defense is the worst part of the team, while Rijeka said goodbye to Europe (although they were 1:0 and 2:1 ahead), just like I expected.

Hello everybody!

Busy week starts today. We'll have a pick for today, but you can expect the picks for Thursday's matches as well today. From now on - I'll be announcing time of picks in CET, so if you're in the UK - it's minus one hour. So, today you can expect them at noon CET.

Recap of the past week

If I decided to take all the bets I mentioned, 2 bets would be won (making more than 3 points of profit), one would be half and 2 completely lost (-2.5 points), so not much of a harm done. Specially if we know that Cibalia - Inter match ended up 3:3 (and that's definitely not a result which I expect when I bet on draw), while Hajduk scored the only goal in the injury time.

But, let's take a look at midweek disaster. The only bet that was completely won was surprising Hajduk's 3:0 away win, but since I thought Olexandriya was much better team, that match brought us small loss.

Lokomotiva and Vorskla played a boring match, in which Lokomotiva was better team, but still - 0.4 points won there - but 1 point lost, as I expected at least 2 or 3 goals.

The match that cost us the most was between two Dinamos. Of course Tbilisi had a chance to score in 89th minute (if the match ended 2:1, both of our bets would be won), but goalkeeper saved it brilliantly.

I definitely won't cry, as 2.5 points minus after a good start of the season can be won back soon. We have a busy week in front of us, as 2nd matches are scheduled, and the Rio Olympics are right ahaed of us, with Croatian national team competing in basketball, handball, waterpolo and tennis, while I really don't see me getting involved in the remaining sports. But, who knows...
