A good weekend

After a miserable weekend, we got back most of the money lost. All 4 bets brought us some profit – and if Dinamo didn't scored second goal in 89th minute, all bets would be completely won. This way, we earned 2.98 points. So, let's see what have I done in the first 3 weekends after the break? 14 bets, 14 points staked – 6 won - 2 voids – 6 lost which means we lost 1.61 points. And that's much better than almost 5 points lost after last weekend.

More than unlucky

What to say after 4 losing bets and 1 void?
On Friday, after 85 minutes Hajduk was 2:0 - and they played awful (they scored an early goal after Istra's goalkeeper tried to dribble?!?). At that moment, we had 1 winning and 1 half-losong bet. In 90th minute it was 3:0 - we had 1 losing and 1 void. At the end - 2 bets lost.
On Saturday, Split took an early lead, which means we needed only 1 goal for a void and 2 goals for winning bet. And Slaven Belupo had 2 penalties - and scored none.
 We'll skip the Cup SF tomorrow, new picks coming on Friday.

Handball WC recap

Finally, here it is! Croatia end up 4th, much better than expected, but the way they failed to win the medal (missed the penalty in the last second of Semifinal, and then lost the bronze although they were 8 goals ahead 18 minutes before the end). It's just tragic. Except if you have a bet against Croatia, like we had.

Croatia lost the match vs Norway in the extra time, and since SBO considers our bet lost (although Norway won by 3 goals AET), we lost a point there. But, if you placed that bet somewhere else, maybe you earned a point or so. However, although they played additional 10 minutes, our UNDER bet was won no matter where you took that bet.

Anyway, 11 bets, 7 won and 4 lost, 1.81 points profit or 16.45% ROI – not bad. I'd like to have these stats always.

Recap od 2016

After the first 2 months, season looked great, with almost 10 points (9.76) profit. But, somehow I managed to loose it all in the following 3 months (-10.04), which makes this season almost at the start (-0.3 points) – although we had 182 bets! We were unlucky more than few times, and lucky little bit less times.

Any lessons learned?

Well, I'll definitely cut down the number of tennis bets. And that's about it.

However, handball World Cup started last week, and we might have a bet as early as tomorrow.

And I'm looking forward getting back on winning ways. Cheers!
