We were few minutes away from a 100-percent midweek, but a
goal that Frank Ohandza scored for Hajduk's win in 90th minute made Hajduk –
(+1) Iasi bet a void. On Wednesday, Dinamo beat Vardar 3:2 (they were goal
behind twice, they scored first 2 goals from the spot – and first penalty was
more than doubtful), while the winning goal came after deflection. But, both of
our bets on that match were won comfortably. Lokomotiva beat RoPS easily, they
had a player more for almost an hour, but after 2:0 (in 29th minute) they
slowed down and we had to wait till 83rd minute to win a bet.
CFL weekend brought us 2 winning and 2 losing bets. Slaven
Belupo beat Cibalia 3:2, but the match with couple of spectacular goals just
coudn't end up under 2.50 goals. Osijek won 2nd consecutive away match, while
Lokomotiva and Rnk Split played the worst match of the season, which ended 0:0,
so a small loss on CFL weekend.
Everything is well known about Ivo Karlovic's tennis. He's
the tallest player on tour and he serves great. And he also loses his serves
very rarely. He didn't lost serve vs Baker, Sock and Johnson, but he did in the
final vs Gael Monfils twice. But, as he won the 1st set, +2 games Asian Handicap
margin proved to be enough to win this bet.
Ivo plays at Toronto this week, as well as Borna Coric (who
beat another Croatian player Ivan Dodig in the first round), while Mirjana
Lucic Baroni passed the 1st round in WTA Montreal (her second round match is
scheduled for tomorrow, so tune in aroun 11 AM GMT, no matter on the outcome of
Karlovic's and Coric's matches). We're getting involved in today's tennis
matches as well, so tune in again at 11 AM GMT.
